In the world where no one has idle time to waste, life needs a kick into the fast lane, and that’s exactly what the world’s fastest lift being designed by Hitachi for the 213-metre tall G1 Tower in Japan, is commissioned to do. Touting a speed of 1,080 meters per minute, the world’s largest high-speed, high-capacity elevator will be verified for the claim in April when the tower is up and functioning.
